Saddle Bronc Riding
- It is very similar to Bareback Riding. In this riding method, the cowboy must hold on to the bucking horse for at least 8 seconds. If a rider cannot stay in the horse for 8 seconds, this will be a no-score ride.
- The cowboys participating in this will be scored 1-50, depending on their performance. The horse will also earn points depending on their performance. The horse receives more points if it bucks in various directions to make it interesting rather than simply straight ahead.
- In December, 15 of the top saddle bronco riders compete in the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas. Top players will earn honor and millions of dollars in purses.
